AppleJar Type Design

Below is a 14 character sample of a typeface titled "AppleJar." The type challenges the typical baseline orientation by being on a diagonal rather than horizontal. It also embodies the rustic, elegant tone that is found in typical spirits packaging, as well as a friendly touch with more humanist serifs. Shown directly below is the typeface in application, used as the display type for a fictitious restaurant, Apple Jar Orchard & Tavern.
